Midwest School of Astrology
Pam Gallagher and LightPath, Inc. opened the Midwest School of Astrology in 2009 transforming her informal astrology classes into an organized school. We are excited to start a new Level I Class On-Site and On-Line in September of 2012. The school is the culmination of 40 years of experience and 10+ years of teaching for Pam Gallagher. She has taught many students over the years and has applied to be an affiliated school with ISAR (International Society of Astrological Research) and NCGR (National Counsel Geocosmic Research). The curriculum is focuses on both Practical Astrology for beginners and Certification requirements for continual study. The On-Site Certificate Program is a 3yr program geared to a more in-depth study of astrology from the History of Astrology and Astronomy to interpretation also including alternative astrological methods such as Draconic, Esoteric, and Harmonics. In 2011, we launched the On-Line Certificate Program which is a 4yr program utilizing the same curriculum as ON-Site with a some adjustments for the on-line teaching application. The school will be featuring guest speakers during the year such as Lee Lehman, Chris McCrae, Monica Domeno and David Cochrane, who will bring expert knowledge and practical experience to the students. The practice of Astrology continues to be Pam’s passion and she will continue to teach a Practical Astrology class on Thursdays. Thus, helping students better understand their own charts in everyday application, testing new methods to find validity and usefulness in personal chart interpretation as well as reviewing the worldly events. Pam continues to have a thriving chart consulting business in LightPath, inc. allowing her to practice new and standard methods of Astrology in everyday application. The School has something for everyone and anyone who is interested in Astrology and stretching their knowledge in a stimulating and inclusive atmosphere.
